"The first thing I guess with a Hendrix Tribute is to compare the guitarist to the man himself. I gotta say that in Simon Cassidy Jimi’s licks are in safe hands. OK: he doesn’t look like Hendrix, he plays right handed and he is a white guy, but years of practising the Great One’s technique have honed his skill to almost perfection…..the second set kicked off with “Stone Free” and then [for me anyway], Simon’s piece-de-resistance “3rd Stone from the Sun”. On this number he really doesn’t hold anything back, and delivers an almighty guitar performance…... Further classic Hendrix concluded the second set….the audience loved every one of them and showed great response to all the numbers…..Sundance play  and sound like the music Hendrix left us with; so let us just enjoy it!”    Jenny Lindsey

“After a short break Sundance came on and proceeded to give the audience the full catalogue of the Hendrix collection. Nothing was spared and the band gave it 120 per cent. As the review said this is a band to see and if you love Hendrix you will not be disappointed by these fine musicians...I thoroughly enjoyed the show and will definitely see them again, sooner rather than later….I will let you be the judge of how good this Hendrix tribute band are, just get to see them soon before they start doing the big concert halls around the country”.    Les, Rock 4 All

"My last gig was on Friday 24th April when Jimi Hendrix tribute band SUNDANCE played an incredible gig to a sold out room at Darlington Arts Centre. The band have recently reformed with new personnel, but with original guitarist, Simon Cassidy - who is a talented guy. I'm sure if Mr. Hendrix was looking down on the gig he would have been pleased with the way his music was performed"    Mike Prendergast

“Sundance …. did convey the spirit of Jimi's songs and throughly enjoyed themselves along the way. We thought they were brilliant….. Highly recommended”Roger Butler-Ellis

"Popped out to see the Hendix tribute band Sundance. Opened with Fire followed by Hey Joe. At this point my jaw was dropped listening to the guitarist and when Highway Chile came about I was blown away. Simon Cassidy on guitar was awesome and thats an understatement! They played all my favourite songs and it was like listening to my 2nd CD I ever bought; the Jimi Hendrix collection. I've got quite a bit Hendrix including live stuff so I knew what to expect, but my expectations were all exceeded….these guys were BRILLIANT and would recommend that, those of you who either like blues power and or Jimi Hendrix or just want to see excellent musicians, to get to the next gig. Check em out and ensure that these guys get the crowd they deserve”.    Ade Panther

“Sundance and what can I say? These lads are tremendous! Kept waiting they never moaned and then proceeded to pay tribute to Hendrix like I have never seen before. Anyone with a liking for Hendrix really needs to see this band and those not so keen should give them a try. They might just change your mind!"     Bill Bruce
